Density: 4000 plants per hectare.
Vines and training system: exclusively Nebbiolo, the
sub-varieties Lampia (prevalently) and Michet. The training system
is Guyot in rows.
Production/ha: 60-65 quintals.
Maceration and fermentation: in steel vats for 10/12 days.
Ageing: in French oak barrels (35 hl) for three years and two
years in bottle. |

Characteristics.
Bright ruby red in colour with garnet tints. Elegant and harmonious
on the nose with persistent fruity notes and hints of spices. Warm
and strong bodied, balanced in taste and strong in aroma. The finish
is long and intense. Ageing in bottle for 12-15 years can improve
it. Best served with all kinds of game and mild ripe cheeses.
