The Lampia biotype
has a medium to large sized pyramidal bunch with a well developed wing, a
medium to small berry with less intense colouring with respect to the
Michet. The Michet biotype has a medium sized bunch of cylindrical- conic
shape, quite compact and with a long stem. The berry is medium of a
blue-black colour. Michet produces more concentrated and coloured wines,
while Lampia brings out aromas and perfumes. The growing system for all
the varieties is the Guyot in rows. The average production per hectare is
60/65 quintals.
The vineyard work is
carried out by all the family, with the valued assistance of the
agronomist Dr. Giampiero Romana.
