We accompany our wines into the world and we continue to do the work of vineyard and wine cellar in person. Our annual production is around 60,000 bottles, the wine-making plant running on the lines of the traditional method of vertical tanks, humidifying the grape husk crust and breaking it using the system of letting the must drop. Ageing always takes place in French oak barrels with a capacity of 35 hectolitres, as dictated by tradition. We do not believe that our personal convenience, profit or beliefs should give us the right to alter the extraordinary heritage that has been passed down to us. Nothing can be changed about a great Barolo, a great Barbera or a great Dolcetto.

The techniques and the customs that have been handed down through more than a century of experience have proved to lead to great results. We need the strength to see that perhaps it is not absolutely indispensable for all of us to invent something, and we need great spirit and generosity in order to dedicate all our work to keeping in our family and in our territory such a deep-rooted and important tradition, decidedly more important than our personal inclinations. At a time when it seems that everything must change, we accept the challenge of tradition.
